Is it a Big Deal...

If you get your wedding dress at one place and the BM dresses at another?
I tried some on at the one place where I found the BM dresses and didn't like the selection. So I went to another shop and found IT!!!
I feel bad about not going back to the first place. But they would not carry the designer I liked.
The BM dresses I liked were at both places but The first place was $60 cheaper and the sales woman was much nicer at the first place then the second.

Does it matter?

I don't think it matters...I ordered my gown from Bridal Reflections and did find my BM dress there, but found it cheaper online.

It's not a big deal at all.

I bought my dress from Bridesave.com and had it altered by a friend's friend.

My girls got their dresses at Bridal Reflections. My 2 sisters had their dresses altered there and the other 3 girls had them altered someplace else.

Not a big deal at all. I will be going to Kleinfeld because I have a special need that they will be able to address and it isn't terribly close to where I live. My attendants are all on LI and I will locate an easier place to shop so they don't have to be inconvenienced

DOn't think so. My wedding dress is down here in VA and BM's dresses are in a different shop in NY!

I got mine at different places, they didn't carry the designer I wanted. No Sweat.

I don't think it is a big deal at all. It is business...one place had it and one place didn't. In the end it is all about convenience, quality, and price.

No it is not a big deal. I am getting my dress at macys and my BM dresses at Lynbrook Bridal. I felt so much better getting mine at Macys--w/ all the horror stories out there I just didn't want to get screwed but my dress was cheaper at Lynbrook bridal and macy's matched the price.
