....to wear a denim jacket with jeans???

I think it looks good but I remember hearing once or twice that it is quite a faux pas.
What the heck do I know?!

Okay, I have one vote for matching denim and one for non. Hmmmmm........

I just tried my jacket with jeans and they're slightly different shades. I think it looked pretty hot!

I have a fear of denim top and denim bottom. I usually go for the denim jacket with khaki colored pants. But then again, I'm not the most fashionable person in the world, so I really can't be one to talk

I'd have to agree.... I am by no means the most fashion forward individual around, but would agree that it would look too much like a denim suit, together.

NOT matching! And not so close that it looks like you meant to match, but didn't ( this applies in general with clothes of the same color)

ETA- I did see a man in what appeared to be a denim suit once. It was at a wake. And he was tall, so he stood out.
The deceased was a retired truck driver, & there were a lot of cowrkers/union members, there, so I assume the denime suit man was a truck driver & could possibly have been on his way to/from work.

Normally, I'd wear khakis w/ a denim jacket but if I can get away with denim on denim, why the heck not?! Then again, I used to wear genie pants and hyper color shirts in the early 90s! I'm a lost cause!
