my MOH wants my bridal shower 4 weeks before the wedding? Isn't it usually like 2-3 months before?
Since I am OOT, I am having 2 weekend trips within the last 3 months of the wedding and will be swamped with a bunch of other bs...never the less a shower ...I just though 4 weeks was a little odd?

it is a bit close but if ur an oot bride and ur going to be here at that time then thats what works best for you

i don't understand what the etiquette is for when to have showers at all.... i remember someone on here recently who had a shower whose wedding isn't until next year....so that confused me. I guess I just don't know what the deal is!

it sounds like she is probably just trying to make less trips for you, so i don't think it's odd in this case

To try to suprise my sister we did it around my birthday, end of June for her 8/8/08 wedding.
