...to use the things you got for your shower before the wedding?! My FH and I just moved into a new apartment and have NOTHING. I just had my shower, and we could really use everything! Is it bad luck???

I was thinking that we should maybe use everything but our bedding set...I feel like we should wait and use it for the 'marital bed'...cheesy I know, but it makes me feel a little better at least!

I was told it's bad luck - so since family visit us often, I also don't want to hear the lecture, so it;s staying packed away for one more month!

I'm trying to be good and not use it but it's killin me to see stacks of boxes in the spare room while we use old ugly hyand-me-downs! Soon enough!

I only heard it wasn't right to use WEDDING gifts before the wedding. We started using our shower gifts real quick!

We used some of our gifts because I was just sick of looking at them piled up in the living room...I haven't been struck by lightening yet!
