'dream' invitation for pictures and sending out regular, i.e. cheap invites? They would still be nice but not as elaborate as my 'dream' invite, and nearly not as expensive. I just want the 'dream' one for my wedding photos. And don't want to spend a buttload on something that will be thrown away anyway. Any thoughts?

I actually think that is the best idea ive heard in a long time. I would send one to my mom and dad, one to fh mom and dad and one for me. Such a good idea!

Whew! I feel so much better! I didn't even think about sending the 'dream' ones to the parents'.
That's a load off my mind.. keeping that money to put towards something else.

I think thats a great idea..... most people just throw the invites out anyways - so i think it's a great idea to try to save some money in that department

I don't want to spend alot of money on invites. Like what is being said. people throw them away. I know when I get invites I just look to see what the date is and put it away. The next time it gets looked at is the day of the wedding when I take it with me for confirmation that I'm invited.

Exactly, they just get thrown out anyway..I figured only ordering a few, I'll save alot! $4.50 per invitation for 200 people!! Waaay too much. That money can be much better spent.
