Is it bad that my BM's are having their dresses altered at different places?

I'm at the point where I really don't care anymore, but apparently having to go to Macy's Smithtown Mall on a Tuesday or Thursday is too inconvenient, so they're having it altered by a seamstress. I would have rather everyone had it done at one place for uniformity, but WHATEVER.
Ya think this will turn out bad?

All my bridemaids are in different states. I had one that actually ordered the dress at a local shop before I could stop her. Oh well...just sucking it up and hoping everything matches.

Almost all of my girls had their dresses altered at different places-it wasn't a problem at all--don't worry!

each of my bridesmaids was from another state so they all went to different places and it was fine. The dress was tea length tho so hems werent an issue.

I don't think so. You should be fine. As long as you give them an idea of what you want for the alterations it should be ok. I am letting the girls go where ever they want. It's just easier and they may get a better deal then the alteration cap the bridal salon is giving.

No big deal. My girls all had them done where ever they wanted and it was fine.

I don't think that is a problem. I would not worry. As long as they have the correct dress and color. I too am getting my bm dresses from Macy's in Smithtown and it is too far for my girls. They will all be having their dresses altered by different seamstresses of their choice.

Two of my BMs had the alterations done where the dresses were purchased. One had hers done in Manhattan. Two had theirs done in Rockland. They all came out fine!
