Is It bad to get married on a sunday?

The place i am in love with I can only afford on a sunday. The other place i like i can afford on a saturday night. Is it worth it to give up a sat night to have it at the place i luv? I am worried people will not like coming to a sunday wedding and will think i am being cheap even though the sunday place costs twice as much as the saturday one.... what should i do?

It doesnt matter what other people think, and I know they will show up for you. I am having a Sunday wedding and I was nervous at first also but I spoke to alot of people and I got a great response of people who said they wouldnt mind a sunday wedding.
Do it have a great time.

I'm getting married on a Sunday night. It doesn't seem so odd to me because so many of my friends and family have gotten married on a Sunday night. Friday night and Saturday nights are very rare wedding nights for Jews. Saturday night was an option for us, but we wanted to get married in the summer, and waiting until sunset ... we would've been starting at 9pm! Anyway, definitely don't worry about other people. Those people that love you and want to be there, will. We're getting married a holiday weekend and at first we were worried about intruding upon people's 4th of July plans, but then we decided, it's our wedding and those that want to be there will, and those that don't - oh well. No matter the day, you will be surrounded by those that love you and at the end of the night, Saturday or Sunday, you will be a Mrs.

I am getting married on a Sunday. I don't care what people think. I chose Sunday because I want to have a nice wedding and I don't want to pay twice as much to have it on Saturday night. All that really matters to me is that in the end I will be married. And all the people will be thriled to share this moment with you, regardless of the day or time.
If it bothers you that much you could do a Saturday day wedding or a Friday night.

Once mom is well enough to start looking for locations, I am actually hoping to get a Sunday afternoon in the winter to save money in order to have the place I want. I will be having a temple wedding and most temple ballrooms don't have windows. So to me, it will feel like a Saturday night regardless. Scr*w what other people like or want. Do what you like and can afford.
