i technically have 2 registries (BBB and Macys) but i have about 4 things on my Macy's registry. Everything that i can get at Macys i already registered for at BBB. i was hoping to find more at Macys but no such luck.
Is it bad to cancel my Macys one and only have one at BBB? is that not enough choices for people? Maybe i should delete stuff off BBB and put them on Macys?

i only had a BBB registry... no one complained... i had things in all price ranges and more than enough items on it... there is still alot left on and we got a ton of gifts at the shower!

i dont think its bad i personally dont like my macys registry but i just did it so that its easier on people

I think it depends on where your registered. With a smaller store you might have an issue but BBB is everywhere and your guests can use the 20% off coupon so I'm sure you're fine having that as your main registry.

I am only registering at BBB...I was going to register at Crate and Barrel but decided against it...I think we are going to do the honeymoon registery just as another option- you might want to look into that- my TA is doing it for free for us

Jackie I am only registering at BBB becuase its just easier that way. That way I dont have to worry about what store I have to return things if I get doubles and everyone gets those 20% coupons.

Jackie, I had the same exact situation as you did. I cancelled the one at Macys and am just registered at BBB. I dont think its a big deal. (technically didnt really know how to cancel the macys so just took everything off, whatever, ya kno)

I think you should be fine with one store. I'm sure you have a lot of different items and price points on your registry for people to choose from. I'm only registered with BBB & they have everything I need.

We only registered at BBB we found everything there. We were going to register at Macy's, but we looked on line and our china plates at Macy's were $40 more per setting than at BBB!! Also, its up to you. You can register where ever you want.

LOL I have the same issue as well, but reverse (for our engagement party). We have a ton of Macy's items, with about 5 items on BBB... But I'm only placing the little registry card from Macy's in my invite envelopes. The few items on BBB registry I can only get from there, so what I'll do is just tell close friends/family that I have another registry, if you want you can get me the stuff from there!

I have two registries and so far everyone is getting all my stuff from one registry while the other hasn't been touched. You should just go for one since from my experience most ppl will go to one store anyway.

No b/c BB&B is everywhere and you can order online as well.
For my friends that got married already, they registered at 3-4 stores and probably 90% of gifts were from BB&B. So guests seem to like it.

I went to bed with the same exact problem. (i even tried target and jcpennys in addition to macys but no luck)

I did it. I only registered at Macys. My only regret is not registering at Crate and Barrel for like decorative bowls or vases and stuff because Macys was VERY expensive for that stuff. Otherwise I have to say I was able to register for everything I want and got almost all of it too lol and for great prices cause there are always sales and coupons =)
