is it bad to wear your hair down on your wedding day - i really dont like how my hair looks up and i want to waer it down - does anyone have nice pictures of hair down ---- i saw one girls hair on tlc's wedding story on tuesday and i really liked it - but i cant find it anywhere

I wore mine 1/2 up. I dont like my hair all up.

Wearing your hair down is not bad. You should wear your hair however you want to. What you need to take into consideration is if you are wearing a tiara or a veil. Make sure you have a hair trial before the wedding so that you can see how you look with both the hairdo and the veil, etc.

If you are looking for hairdo that are down, check out the weddingchannel.com they have lots of photographs and look around in magazines. Once you find a hairstylist that you like, talk to her/him about the variety of styles and what they have done and what could look good on you.

No matter what you will look gorgeous.

Not at all. I have seen many brides with their hair down! You have to do what makes you happy!

thats good to hear - i want to look like me but prettier on my wedding day ----- and since i never ever wear y hair up cause i dont like it (it makes my nose look even longer) i thought it was silly to wear it up that day ---------- but alot of people i ask told me that brides look nicer with their hair up

i am. i NEVER wear my hair up or even half up. to me having a completely diff hairstyle on my wedding day just doesn't seem natural.

I almost wore my hair down..there is nothing worng with wearing it down at all..I have very culry hair and I was just goin to have it blown out straight...wear it however you feel comfortable! Jess2 is wearing it down and she looks GORGEOUS!!! Maybe she will post a pic!!!

I am doing half up half down.....I never wear my hear up unless I am scrubbing out....

My FH will like my hair half down too...he's a long hair fan..........

my only advice is keep in mind if you will be outdorrs alot-it will blow around.
my cousin's was on a boat & it was blowign around in a lot of teh pictures.

I think I am wearign mien down with a headband, adn i will have the ends curled, so it won't look stringy & limp (i hope)
the top would look flat if I didn't wear a headband, but that's my hair.

I wore mine down and was very happy with the way I came out in photos. You should try it both ways (during trials) and see what you like best.

Nothing like that can be bad on your wedding day. I am considering it too- also Jennifer Aniston wore it down on her wedding.

You need to do whatever makes you feel best and most beautiful!

if i could do it over again i would have worn it down! i too have very curly hair and when it can to pics you really did not see the great job they did on my hair! plus to take it doen was a night mare! i found more bobby pins in my hair the next morning! jmo.. but you do as you want it is your hair and you must do as you like! the pics that where posted where very nice ones!

i would love to wear mine up but 'can't' because my ears stick out and i hate how it looks in pictures. i have very thick, curly, unmanageable hair that i have mastered blow drying straight for some years now.

i am worried about keeping it down because when/if it gets hot and i sweat, it starts to become frizzy...however, if i get it professionally done, they should be able to keep it tame for the duration.

don't even get me started if it rains...

i think if you want to wear it down it is up to you..i think the person who does your hair will make it look beautiful either way..my thought is if you have it keep in down..

I am also interested in wearing my hair down but I am concerned that it will wear off easily(the curls) because I have very straight hair. I don't want the hair stylist to put too much stuff on my hair. I like it more natural.
Besides, I am afraid I will sweat with all that moving and dancing.

what were your experiences like with your hair down throughout the day of your wedding?

I wore my hair half up and half down. It stayed all night and I was comfortable with it. You should wear it the way you want to. Brides don't always have to wear their hair all up.
