I cannot sleep! I lay in bed tossing and turning and wedding planning in my head and I just cant close my eyes and sleep.
This is not good. I have about 2 months to go, how am I going to last on 5 hours of sleep for the next 2 months?
Just venting...

Re: Is it just me...?
I've done this a few times...but now I just get up and do stuff around the house until I tire myself out...so at least I get some sleep.

Re: Is it just me...?
Same thing happens to me....often. I'm thinking about the weirdest things when I should be sleeping. I think about about where this should go, and that should go here and not there...ughhhh so frustrating.

I've been going through the same thing. Last night was the first time in at least a month that I had almost 8 hours sleep...lately, it's been more like 6! I hope my make up artist can cover up the dark circles that are now under my eyes!

i was havig trouble for awhile - but i havebeen sleeping much better since i have been going to the gym on a regular basis-
for brides in the next couple of months- i know it is hard to get to the gym or do execrcise but it does help you sleep sounder so you need less sleep -
also just get outside on a nice day will help too - take a long walk at a good pace

I haven't done this in a while as I have everything done already - with the exception of the table cards and seating chart. Just try and keep yourself calm and do a little bit each day to chop your list of things to do down!

Nope, not just you. I started having nightmares...my DJ didn't show up last night (in my dreams) and other companies were laughing at me...it was a mess. Worst part is that I get physically ill and my stomach is in knots.
It'll be over soon enough!

Re: Is it just me...?
It's normal, I struggled alot with this and decided the best thing to do was get off of LIW and stop planning AT LEAST an hour before Bed. I make a cup of tea and read a book and it has helped ALOT. You need 'wind down time' to clear your head of the planning.

I think we have all had our share of insomnia. Just a phase of wedding planning I guess.

Re: Is it just me...?
Same here...FI reaches over around 1.00 am and pretends to turn the off switch behind my ear as he cannot understand why I lie down and my mind is still racing at 100 mph...easy for him to say he only has to show up on the day!!I have been stumbling into the coffee shop every morning for the past three weeks looking for something to get me through the day.
The only time I do get sleep is I refuse to be on the computer or talk wedding talk for about 3hrs before I go to sleep...
You could always 'medicate' yourself with some vino that usually sends me off to Zzzzzzzzzzz land pretty quick...
