We'll be engaged 17 months by the time we ge married - we waited a lil longer than most because we needed to time to save $$$ to pay for this huge festa and also because we knew we wanted a summer wedding and summer of '06 was wayyyy too soon so summer of '07 it is

We've only been engaged for four months now and it has flown!!! When we get married we'll have been engaged for two years and one month. I would love a one year engagement, but being that we are paying for our 300-350 person wedding ourselves we need time to save money. We also chose Nov. 3, 2007 because it's both of our bdays and it falls on a Saturday and we wanted a Saturday night wedding.

Sorry to barge in, just wanted to say that you should all enjoy your engagements and get as much planning early as you can. Get ideas, clip articles, envision your day from now. That way you could sort of relax later. I did that and managed to plan my wedding in about 7 months. We were engaged for 4 years...and the last year was a whirlwind! The wedding will be here before you know it!!

yeah, we'll be engage for 2 years and 3 months by the time I actually walk down the aisle... it'll be worth it!!
It does seem like forever....and like it will never come. I'll be engaged for 2 years and 1 month by the time the day actually comes. But i am enjoying the planning and taking the time for it. Once it is over I think it will be a bit sad. I'll miss doing all this fun stuff....

It will be 2 years and 3 months when we get married. Money was the only reason why we waited. If money was not an issue I am sure I would all ready be married!!

well, my FH is in med school so we wanted to wait for him to graduate. So he graduate May 07, getting married in June and then starting residency in July - it should be a fun (stressful) 3 months!!
sounds really stressful!!! lol ....ill be engaged a year and seven months wheni get married
