Does anyone else sometimes worry that a vendor they booked with will end up being a disappointment? Everyone I've booked with so far has RAVE reviews, etc etc. I don't really have any reason to be thinking this. I think the wedding planning is just stressful and I'm worried that like the band will turn out to suck or the limo won't show or..my dress will look like crap. Is this normal or an I NUTS??

i think its normal to second guess a vendor but just think of it this way- there are tons of brides that have used them w/ good reviews so you should be ok!

You're not the only one. I ordered my dress from BC and they went out of business. Now I'm super paranoid and I'm afraid that something else is going to go wrong. But we can only pray that everything goes smooth.

YES! I just booked my dj, and I still search him to see if anything negative comes up. I found ONE bad comment from like 2004 (which he actually addressed with us when we met him!), and I was all worried about it!
FH tells me to let it go...and go on LIW less...ha!

hahaha! my FH tells me the same thing. he's like 'stop torturing yourself?!' it's like i search LIW for feedback, even though they're booked and there's no turning back now. and of course i know i'll be so upset if i find anything really bad! but yet, i still look
but i agree with you all... basically contracts are signed, the wedding is in a little over 4 months (OMG!) and it's gonna happen no matter what. ugh, torture. i definitely see how wedding planning can get you nuts! i am nuts :o)
i'm still going to fret over my dress. i only tried it on in the sample size, and i'm SO not a sample size..i'm 5'10 and so in my mind the dress looked great, the girl agreed...but i'm going to freak when it comes in...i just gotta that it will all be okay :o) lol

I think everyone does.... you are taking a chance. Things happen and things can go wrong. But we just gotta try to make the best decisions and hope for the best!

I have nightmares about my flowers ALL THE TIME even though I think my florist will be great. It's a bride thing.

Nope not just you. Everytime i sign a contract i'm like, 'Oh man I hope this works out'. Because the truth is every reccomended company has some bad review out there and i don't want to be that exception. My best advice, even though it's not that good, is just to say, 'I have no way of truly knowing how anything is going to turn out, so let me just stick with what I have and not worry about it'
