...Do the weddings on the show Platinum Weddings not seem worth the money sometimes?
Just saw an episode where the bride flew in a hair stylist to the stars and yet her hair looked like she did it herself!
P.S perhaps I am jealous b/c she spent more on the stylist than I am spending on my entire wedding lol ...just saying

yep i could have a fab wedding with my budget the only thing i would do if a had more money would be a little more decor and more ppl

Oh I totally agree. I can't imagine spending that kind of money on anything. I saw one epsidoe where they spent $200,000 on flowers please they will be dead in 12 hours.

There was one recently where the bride spent a whole lot of $$ on her wedding dress, and it wasn't even all that impressive. I've seen dresses like it for much cheaper!!!

Platnum Weddings = MTV's Super Sweet 16 all grown up. I HATE this show because the amount of opulent things on here makes me sick. You can probably feed a third world country with the cost of this entire wedding!!!!!!!!

A co-worker of mine told me that for the indian platinum weddings they inflate the price of what they say everything costs! She said all of those things they say are custom ordered from india are expensive but not THAT expensive and she has good taste!

Granted there's some stuff I like, but overall...it looks like there's definitely ways to get something SIMILAR, for less. To each their own...but if I had that kind of money, I'd be sitting pretty poolside in a mansion with my unlimited china service and stuffed animals LOL, not blowing it on cake crystals and flowers.

The one killed me who said she was going to pay for it all herself but then her parents were 'so impressed' with her style and vision that they offered . .
1. c'mon if she was going to pay for it herself - it was still soooooo obviously from a trust fund so what's the difference
and
2 B/c of her style??? like if she had picked ugly colors and done cheap things they would have told her she was on her own???!!! they are not investing in a fashion line!!!!
