....does the technician push really hard on your stomach to try to get the baby to move so they can get their measurements? Holy cow! You would think they would be more gentle.

The technitians that did my ultrasounds haven't been that rough (knock on wood... I'm having another one next week)... but my little Madeleine likes to kick or punch the ultrasound wand...

Well, a couple of times that I went, they had trouble getting their measurements because of the position of the baby at the time. Then they push really hard on my stomach trying to get the baby to move. My baby fights back with kicks.

My tech didn't get rough with me. My baby doesn't need any encouragement to kick or punch back, it does great on it's own!
I did have to go back in two weeks due to the baby moving so much and not cooperating with the whole measurement idea.

Yeah, our baby wasn't cooperating either with them trying to get measurements. This time they were finally able to get them though.

I went a few time for sonograms and each time the technician pushed really hard and it hurt! What is wrong with them?
