Kind of ...not really. My FH is all about telling me to go check it out and make appointments with LOTS of people(photographers) and then complains when we have to go on these appointments - we only saw 3 photographers & booked the 2nd one we saw - who I absolutely LOVE!!!!!!

mine helped out a lot. he had an opinion on everything except the flowers.

I have to admit that my FH has been really helpful since we got engaged. He's come on all the vendor appointments with me (except for flowers - he wasn't interested) and he's even excited to start registering in a few months. I know that if I need help with anything, even a DIY project, I could count on him.

mine helps with major decisions.... he likes for me to pick my 'top 3' choices for anything, and then he helps me narrow it down from there![]()

Mine thought we were getting married July 23rd up until last week and we have been engaged for 7 months.. GOD... but I love him!!!! He makes me laugh!

Mine isn't helping at all. I work 2 jobs so I work 7 days a week. We are on a VERY tight budget and need to save where we can. I cant afford catering so my mom is cooking most of the food. I've been looking into having the reception at an American Legion Hall because it's cheap and you can basically do what you want there. I've asked him to go look at the place on a Saturday morning because the supervisor is only there from 8-12pm and I have to be at work by 10:30 and I cant leave from the Bx, drive to Queens, hop on the train to the city all before I have to work.
Sorry for venting but Im so aggrevated because then he complains about me taking off days from work to do other things, but if I dont do it then who will.
Im tired and annoyed. Ready to just to to city hall and forget the whole reception.

My Fh is totally involved in the planning process (he even picked out the CP's at the florist!!)

yep-- mine too.. A LOT!! he is great, he comes to every meeting, every little everything-- all the bridal shows and stuff. it's great b/c he helps me a lot otherwise i would be doing it all alone b/c i'm definitely not the typical bride that does everything with my mom-- my mom's focus is on everything but my wedding so i'm glad i have vinny to help me.

SAME HERE!!!
He wants to be involved and then spends the days either working one of his 3 jobs, (which I won't begrudge him) and then he spends every other moment either sleeping or sitting at the fire house

he came to two vendors with me but they were the only two that i went to see and didnt pick, lol
his jobs from now until the wedding
1. he has to get his passport
2. he has to get his tux
3. he has to show up at the church on time and sober
if he can handle that i am a happy girl!

My FH is wonderful, I couldn't do it without him. For us it is a team effort and that is exactly the way it is supposed to be, it should not be solely on the bride. . . that just isn't fair.

Exactly! Although FH has been coming to some appointments. He wants to be involved, but he doesn't actually want to do anything. Such a guy
