is funny because we complain either way.... either they get involved and dont let us have our way or they dont say a word and we pissed because we think they dont care
fh just doesnt want to do the research but he wants to see what vendors ive narrowed it down to so he can decide between those..... lazzzzzzzyyyyyyyyy oh well i love him anyway

Mine only wants to be involved in the big things--dj, photog and limo. He couldn't care less about flowers, colors, details etc.

i booked the hall without him..he 1st saw it liek 4 days after i left a deposit.. and on sunday all he could talk bout is the rh.. cuz of the menu.. at 1 point im like ok enufff wedding talk...
but he wont go with me to see photogs. lol i guess its ok.. but its just annoying and i get sad lol ohwell..better no involveent than too much.

fh doesn't really care what i do as long as its not costing him too much money....he just wanted to see the RH and the band but he never actually saw the band

my FH isn't very involved. my sister (MOH) & i looked at a few possible RH's. when we decided we really liked one over the other then i brought FH to see it.
he doesn't really wanna talk about wedding stuff but he wants to have a say in everything. so what i do is collect a bunch of stuff i like during the week & then show it to him on friday night. then on saturday i take care of everything around the house. i told my FH if he gives me a few minutes to talk about the wedding once in a while i will be the happiest person in the world.

i had to kinda force FH to get involved in the beginning. he just thought that the bride is in charge of all the decisions so he would say 'whatever you want' when i asked his opinion. now he is learning that he's interested too, and is doing a lot of the leg work. (im so proud)

OMG!! that drives me nuts. he has all these opinions about money yet he is so unrealistic!
i am so glad we booked the RH it was 4 weeks of pure torture! i swear he wanted a sat nite with everything for like $50 pp.. ughhh!!!

fh is pretty good--but i do all the research and preliminary visits, and then just bring him to the final choices-like im looking for a photographer now, and once i narrow it down to 2 he'll re-visit those with me to make a decision
even though he comes up with the most bizare things-- like he thought our website was too long at the end of our e-party invite, i was like huh?

FH is totally involved because he wants to and because I'm not the most decisive person!! I feel more comfortable with him involved because we make the decisions together... he's the best (so far)

Same here. I've been doing the research, making phone calls, and appointments. He just tags along. He has a say, but ultimately tells me it's my decision. However, when it came to the band, we were at a showcase and he was the one who said 'Book'em!'
He doesn't really care about photography, but came with me to discuss booking b/c the owner of the studio is a family friend and I wanted them to meet each other.
He wants nothing to do with flowers, colors, etc. Couldn't care less when I was registering for china, silverware, crystal, etc.
But he has had two requests: 1- tator tots at the e-party (which we got) 2- an Incredible Hulk ice sculpture at CH (which I'm working on).
I swear if I let him have say in everything, this would be a 12 year old boy's birthday party instead of a wedding.....
