Is it me, or is even the most simplest things difficult!??
Okay, why can't I find a flower girl or ring bearer? None of FH and I have friends who are 3-5 years. Fh has a niece who will be 2.5 years by the time we are married and a sister who is 8 years old(she's so cute, she asked us if she can be the ring bearer).Ugggh, why is EVERYTHING so hard? Finding a ring bearer or flower girl shouldn't be too hard.
Is anyone else having this problem, or just problems with other tasks that should be simple?

We were thinking about renting a FG for the day.....it's only $150 for four hours. The only catch is you have to feed Mom or Dad.Our ring bearer is my MOH's son---he'll be five going on six.

I know that is a joke, right?![]()
3-5 years because I figured 2 might be to young. 6 would also work, but I don't want one too old. I just think they look so cute when they are little. At the rate I'm going FH sister may be our FG. Do you think 9 is too old for a FG? (Maybe I can do the 2.5 year old and the 9 year old?)
If I knew more kids, I probably would do the multi-age flower girl thing. DM24, are they all walking out together?

I dont think it should be a matter of how they look..its suppossed ot be about people who you care about and them being in your wedding ...I never thought about age when we chose. The 3 FG's are walking together and the RB alone.

My neice is 8 and she is going to be my flowergirl. I figure its more important to have someone special to you in your wedding than it is to have the 'perfect age'...I never knew there was a cut off on flowergirl ages. I was one when I was 7..actually my sister was a flowergirl with me at 11! for my brothers wedding!

First of all, I dont think it is completely necessarry to have a FG/RB. So if you dont have anyone dont sweat it. FH and I werent even going to have either because we felt like it might be too much on the kids. Its a long day. And I didnt want to have to be responsible for them in the limo etc.My RB and FG will be around the age of 6 when we get married. And then theres my nephew who is walking down the aisle too (he doesnt really have a title) he'll be 1 year and 5 mionths...wish me luck!

I think you should not stress yourself out over this.. and find people that are appropriate for the role, not necessarily age appropriate. Get creative..I am having a Jr. BM who is 17-- when I posted on here everyone was like that is way too old for a Jr BM-- and people have ones that are like 12-- in my opinion, 17 is too young for a BM when the youngest BM I have will be almost 26 by the wedding and she is the youngest by 4 years.. You can do whatever you want-- figure out what is right for you and try not to sweat the small stuff.

I have one little kid in my whole family and FH has no little kids in his. My cousin is 8 years old though so we arent having any FGs or RBs.
