..take a credit card number from the groom in case the groomsmen don't return or ruin the tux????

that seems strange to me, I would think they would take cc info from the groomsmen who is actually renting the tux...

Those are my thoughts exactly. I turned away for one minute and FH is handing me a slip that he gave his credit card info

I didn't think they would be specific to just one person...but it doesn't sound THAT odd.

Yikes, not like you need ANYMORE stress - now, you have to 'babysit' the GM's and their tuxedos.

Maybe they can individually give them their own info as they get measured so your not responsible.
I would personally have a tough time doing that. My GM's are pretty WILD and who knows what can happen.

They took an imprint of ours as well. We trust everyone in our wedding party. I'm not worried.

That is exactly what happened to us. They do that as an insurance policy so that all the GM's return their tuxes!

my fiance had to leave a deposit and we will get it back when we return the tuxes.. i havent heard of leaving a cc #
