OK, this seems pretty basic, but I was just wondering if for some reason this is a really busy time of year or if there is some other reason this particular vendor who shall remain nameless is not returning my calls....

I had it happen a lot - emails that went unanswered, phone calls not returned, calls not happening when promised. I don't know what the deal is - it happened with many of my vendors. Once they get the money, they're a lot less responsive. But they still did an amazing job when it counted most.

There is never a reason for a vendor not to return a call, whether busy or not. That is how they make their living and brides should not excust their actions. If that happened to me before, I would NEVER book that vendor, and if it happens after booking, I would expect my deposit back.
