Is it normal to have 4 fittings for your wedding gown?

I went in today for my first fitting...and I couldn't believe how big the dress was...Yes, I did tell the Corsietter to really make my waist disappear....but OMG...I guess I also lost weight since January and I just didn't realize.

A LOT of work has to be done with this dress to make it fit properly...but I'm SOOOOOO Excited, it's more beautiful than I remember.

Right now they are working on taking in the waist and in two weeks I go back and they start the arms and probably do the waist a bit more.
