Re: Is it NOT proper

good decision!
I'm sure it's not propper but who cares.
Why be like everyone else. I feel like my wedding is turning into the typical long island wedding and that's just what I wanted to avoid but there didn't seem to be a way around it. I'm doing so many things I thought were stupid when I went to weddings but somewhere along the lines I changed my mind. Thanks for letting me vent on your post

As long as they are addressed properly (i.e. To Mr and Mrs. John Smith-- addresses optional since you are delivering in person) and there is a stamped RSVP card inside, I think it would be fine.

Agreed!

Although I don't think I would be handing any out....I did make my BFF give me mine while I was helping her stuff hers, I told her so she didn't have to waste a stamp So if she want's I'll hand deliver just hers lol!

We hand delivered some for DH work friends. There had been issues with them not recieving their engagement party invites in the mail. Hand delivering ensures nothing gets lost in the mail and if they lose it, its on them and not u.

my friends would totally make fun of me for mailing them to them. It saves on cost and if they don't mind then ........go for it!
