is it official...are we at war

I do listen to the coverage on the radio, but don't watch the TV, the reality of it all is too depressing. I worry so much for family, friends, and my Sweet FH who rides the train and throught the LIncoln Tunnel every day.

The US has not officially declared War, Congress has to declasre war, but prior to that the President has the power to fight for a certain amount of days, and then Congress has to declare war.

That is why the Persian Gulf sutation was not actually called a war, Congress never declared war.
