Is it OK

Not to wear a dress to my shower. I have to travel far for it since its being held in my hometown. I want to wear tall boots, dark skinny jeans and a really cute tunic sweater. I would be much more comfertable this way. What do you think?

I think that's fine - whatever you will be comfortable in. It sounds like a cute outfit.

it is your shower you can wear whatever you want. if you feel comfortable and confident in it then go for it!
