to give your bridal party gift certificates? I know it's sort of an easy way out, but I am having a hard time picking something out for them and I know at least one has things she needs but can't normally afford, like new clothes - can I give a g.c. to one of her favorite stores instead or is that tacky?

i think that sounds nice.. i dont know how much you wanted to spend but you could also give a small gift with it.. like a silver type compact might run like $10..

I was thinking like a $50 g.c.
I am also making her her wedding day sneakers, taking her for a manicure the day before, and I will probably get a small wrappable gift too.
Now if we only knew what to get the BM....

someone on here once said a beer mug with a gift certificate in it.. you could split it up even.. like $20 to the movies, and $30 to dinner
