My mom called me Sunday and told me, just in the course of conversation, that my aunt (a very close aunt) got her outfit for the wedding. She's wearing a cream colored pantsuit.
Now, I KNOW that there is nothing I can do about this. However, my mother yelled at me for being annoyed, telling me it's none of my business what the guests wear. Would it bother you that a) she's wearing pants and b) it's cream when I'm in ivory??

I would be annoyed, but I agree, at least it's not a fancy dress. She could've been more considerate, but people don't always realize it.

Sorry but that would PISS ME OFF! My FMIL wanted to wear a cream colored dress, Thank god my soon to be husband is outspoken and told her no way. I would be bothered if someone wore anything that color.

I honestly don't think there is anything for you to be upset about. No one will even notice her, she will be ONE of MANY guests, and you will be the bride!
