Help me out here. I've been searching high and low for a simple yet elegant dress for my girls to wear without them having to go crazy at a bridal shop. I finally found one that will save them alot of money and it looks really nice plus it will flatter every figure. Only problem-it only comes in black. Which frankly I don't mind-everyone looks and feels good in black and they won't have to have shoes dyed :)
It's an afternoon wedding but black is still ok for them to wear, right?

I think it's fine. I, at one point, wanted to balck BM dresses. It can look very elegant - go for it!

its your wedding, you can do whatever makes you happy!
i think a black and white themed wedding would be very elegant. have your BM's in black and then have the entire hall draped in white linens, white flowers, white chair covers, etc. very classy!

i once had a black BM dress for a new years eve wedding... i loved it and it was the only BM dress that I ever wore again...
I wanted to have black BM dresses for my own wedding but i let people talk me out of it because I was having ab 'April' wedding... i wish i would have stuck with my gut and gone with the black...

i think its a great idea as well. if you want apop of color just add a sash..black is a very elegant choice

I AM ALL FOR IT!
I got black for my girls also...I think it looks so classy!
My girls are wearing black and couldn't be happier. All the moms are wearing black too and are thrilled!
I think the belief that black is too 'morbid' for a wedding has gone out the window. JMO.

Not only are my girls wearing black, but they're also choosing any dress they want. I didn't want them spending a ton of money on a dress they would never wear again.

For my first wedding they wore black and it looked awesome...they picked out their own style so that they could wear them again and they were pleased..looked great!
