On a Saturday? It's at Leonard's- I can't find a pic but its a very dressy black halter dress.
(PS YAYYYY RSCADUTO is getting married today)

I think that would be fine. I just went to a wedding two weeks ago and wore a dressy black halter dress that was knee length. I say go for it! P.S. the wedding was at Villa Lombardi's.

definitely. i have been to a few weddings so far this year and all my dresses have been knee length. don't think i would go any shorter than that though...

I think as long a its around your knee you'll be fine! I've worn a dress that long to a wedding and I wasn't the only one there! HTH

I think that length will be fine as long as it is dressy enough. I want to see a pic!

technically, if it is a black tie wedding, the women should be in full-length dresses.... which are basically ballgowns or otherwise realyl formal. that's why i like putting formal attire on an invite so people don't have to freak out that a perfectly nice dress is not acceptable because it's not floor length

i honestly been to a few blk tie events this year and really no one wore floor length gowns. Super formal is white tie now, blk tie is really dressy but not designated floor length. I don't wear gowns to any functions anymore (go to charities, weddings,etc) just really dressy cocktail length dresses. Nothing shorter then one inch above the knee though that is not formal that is clubby.
