Do you think it is possible to plan a wedding in nine months? We were originally planning on having a wedding in the Spring of 2008. However, one of the reception halls we were interested in just had a cancellation for late October of 2007. We can get better prices and more flexibility with our minimum guarantee. We can financially work it out if we have to. Should I consider it? Is it possible??......

Totally possible. It's plenty of time.
I'm getting married in August, and I'll only be engaged just over 9 months then. I didn't even start planning for a couple weeks after the engagement. So far, I haven't had to compromise on ONE vendor.
Get started now, and you'll be fiiiiiiine!
ETA - We got a better price on our RH for booking closer to the date, too. No other vendor thought we were too late either.
Heck, I still have limos, flowers, and invites to go!

YES my sister had a 7 month engagement, my brother 10 months and one of my bm is having 7 month. It is totally possible and the wedding will still be perfect.

You definetly can do it!!! I know a few people who are planning there weddings for this year and just got started. So you will have plenty of time.

You can totally plan it by than. My friend is doing it in 8 months...it gets really crazy though but why not. Good Luck!!!

It's is totally possible. I am doing mine in 9 months and it might work out a bit better as far as RHs are concerned because they might cut you a break in price since they want to fill up dates...

My engagement is only 4 months. The main concerns are reception hall and church/ceremony dates matching up after that it's easy. You just have to be fast to pick dresses but stuff like photographers, limos and flowers I didn't stress over. I only started doing that stuff in January. If someone can't do your date about 1000 other people can.
