Is it possible to break a contract with jericho terrace???

Hey guys..I have a friend who is alos having their wedding at JT. She already signed a contract with them and gave her deposit to hold the date. Can she tell them that she cannot have her wedding this year and break the contract?

I don't know the whole story, but if your friend is just pushing off her wedding, I know that a lot of halls are willing to work with you and she might be able to keep JT and just get a diff date. As far as canceling for good, I know that girls on here have done it and I think that you can get money back (a majority of it) if they can re-book the date.

well if she wants to push the date, tell her to let them know and she can just do that.

Otherwise, what it says on the contract, what i can remember off the top of my head is that if they are able to re-book that date for equal or greater value then she gets her money back although deposits arent usually given back but the payments, since she hasnt had any then not sure. BUT if they cant re-book the date or if its for lesser value then she would owe money to make up the difference or something like that. Also when did she sign the contract? that also factors in alot, and also when is her wedding?

if anything she might just lose the deposit depending on the whole situation
