Is it possible to get ring appraised and cleaned in front of you?
I still need to get ring appraised and would like it steam cleaned for our wedding thats 8/9. I LOVE MY RING and don't want to 'give' it to anyone who will take it out of my sight. Is it possible for those services to be done in front of you? I know it sounds a little crazy, but I love it and don't want anything to happen to it.

I used the Jewelry Judge in Garden City. He appraised it and cleaned it right in front of us.

Yes, FI did that the day before he proposed. You should never have to let that diamond out of your site!

There is also a new Marvins in Merrick which has a window for you to watch them clean it.

hmmm... good question.. i THINK(not completely sure).. they might be able to do that, but I remember alot of times them taking the stone out, giving the customer the center stone, then writing on the sales slip what all the side stones are(size/color/clarity)... and doing the repair..then having the customer come back with the center stone and resetting it there in front of them...
