Understandable. But what do you mean by a newsletter??? And the thing is that I am not going to have a shower, so the only way to let people know where Im registered is to send it with the invite.

something like this. 'Fun facts about the couple'

or you can send them out notecards with reminders on blocking hotels, fun things to do around the area, and where you registered.

But of course, in the end its all up to you and your fh.
Either way, you're a sweet person and I know you'll have a beautiful wedding

I agree with Jess5790. I think it is inappropriate to include registry cards with the invitation and if I received a wedding invitation with registry cards, I would be offended. There are plenty of other ways your guests can find out about the registry.

Can you share some ideas with me?

I think it's silly to say you can't put it in the invite. I mean who the hells goes to a wedding and doesn't know there is a gift involved? Do what YOU want. I am going to send the registry info. in my shower invite (which will be in Florida), knowing most won't come. GL

I dont think it's bad at all! It's on a separate card not on the invitation...

Honestly, i dont think its right to do.

Send out a newsletter stating hotel accomm, where you registered, facts about you 2, etc...

But i dont think its right to EVER state where registered within the contents of an invitation envelope.
'its like saying, come to a party, and here is where you need to buy a gift'.

Only time its acceptable is a shower invite and thats bc the party is about bringing gifts.

Thats my honest opinion.

I agree, well said Jessica

I think its OK if your not having a shower to send the registry cards with your invites.
The invitation we got on Sat....Shes having a shower so I thougth it was wierd since they were in the Invite.....
OMG
Imagine if someone made a mistake and they werent supposed to go in the Invite envelope?!?!!?
