DEFINITELY! you wont' have to stress about doing it yourself but rather leave it in the hands of a professional! Also, you'll notice the diff in pics. professional makeup doesnt necessarily mean you have to have gobs of it on. you can have a very clean, light makeup job if you prefer. i think also, when you get it done you just FEEL better.

I think so, I mean I'm OKAY at putting on make up, but I really don't want to stress out about it the day of the wedding!!
Also, who knows how steady my hands will be?

Re: Is it really worth it...
Good question, I would like to know that too. I don't wear excessive amounts of makup. Too much makeup looks so unnatural and fake on me. I love the natural look. I hate feeling like I'm wearing a layer of thick paint. I know exactly how I like my makeup to look when I put it on.
But then again, I wondering if a professional person could make it last longer through the day then if I did it myself? And would they know how to apply it to make it look good for the lighting in my pictures?
Can you bring your own colors and makeup for them to use? And have them do it the way I would usually apply it?

For me it's going to be worth it. I hardly ever wear make-up and when I do I always feels like it looks like I'm a little girl that got into her mother's make-up. I need a professional!!!

I would also say that a professional make up artist would know what types of make up and applications would show up best under a photographer's lights. Forget how long it lasts, you can always touch it up. I would want my pictures to look good and that I dont appear too shiny.

I Think SO!!!!!!! I just booked my makeup for my wedding day & I can't tell you what a relief it's going to be for me! I KNOW the makeup girl is going to make me look waaaaaaaayyyyyy better than what I could do. For one day, I'm pampering myself to the fullest! I say go for it!!

Well this can go either way. If you can do that dramatic effect to your eyes like you see in other wedding pictures of the bride than I say go for it- really there is nothing special that you cant do, you just need to know 'how' to do it and what bases to use on your face. go for trials if you want to see too.

I think so... I'm horrible with applying makeup myself.
