One of my BM's works in a salon. She is going to do mine. She does a great job!! I have no clue about makeup. She is always doing mine.

I DEFINITELY think it is worth the money. A good make up artist will know how to apply make up so that is stays all night. Looking at my pictures, my make up looks incredible at midnight! The only thing I had to reapply was lipstick.

Re: Is it really worth it...
I want to have it done but I'm not having any luck at my trials yet. My first trial caked on SO much make up that I looked like I should be laying in a coffin. The other looked real nice until an hour later I had the fake eyelashes popping off and sticking to my forehead. This one was airbrush make up and not even an hour later it started to come off. I had blotches all over my face!!!!!!!! My next trial is in Feb. Wish me luck!!!!!

Yes. One less thing to worry about and I know they'll do a better job then I would do.

I say no.
I never wear make-up and I had a trial and it was ridiculous, it didn't even look like me.
I really want to look natural.

Then you went to the wrong artist.
I had a FANTASTIC makeup trial, but I also went to a few that were less than great. I found that when I told the artists what I was looking for, I got better results. IE - I am pale, and my skin doesn't tan. I'm okay with that. Really. You don't have to put bronzer on me, because I look fine. Keep my pretty pale complexion, please.
The artists who listened were the ones that I wanted to book.
Edited to add a picture of my fantastic trial. Pictures of the day of can be found here.
