Is it really worth it???

The dyson...I registered for it, but am not sure if it's worth all they hype. Any opinions?

I looked it up on consumer complaints, and it wasn't the top one. So IMHO - no it's not worth it. However, petowners get the Dyson for pets, and rave about it.

I currently have a dyson and i absolutely love it. it picks up everythign.. LOL

Where do you find the consumer complaints? I want to see what vacuums are great and reasonable. I don't have any pets yet and don't ever plan on getting any hairy critters, lol.

we have the dyson animal - it works great - also really easy to use and clean - i have really long hair that gets everywhere and used to jam up my old vaccum - no problems with the dyson

DEFINITELY!!!!!!!! we've had ours for a year now and it works just like it did the first time we used it (and we use it a lot!) - amazingly well.

We love it! and it's great for DH's allergies too!

It's too late for us. My mom already bought us an Oreck. But I keep seeing the Dyson commercials and getting jealous, wondering what could have been!

We have the animal one and it works great. if you type in your search engine 'Dyson Reviews' you will find eopinions. They have over a 170 reviews on the dyson and most people loved it. I had my for 2 years and no problems

Let's just say my dyson (the animal) is one of my prized posessions!!! It's so easy to use and the little thing just pops right out for you to dump out all the crap inside. I love it!!!! It makes vacuuming a cinch.

I wouldn't be upset...IMHO...an Oreck is a fantastic vacuum! I'd take my Oreck ANYDAY over a Dyson.

which dyson model is the one to get? There's like 8 models.

I'm thinking about the animal one but i see that there are 4 kinds. Any thoughts?

would you happen to know what the consumer report you read rated the highest?? or which was way up there?? TIA!!!
