Is it rude to ask my fmil to email me names and addresses of his side of the family? Mind you I emailed my Aunt the same question(but she live in FLA so they are a little more difficult to get thanks girls

No it is not rude! I got my FH's family list from my FSIL. She got married last year so she had the names and addresses in a spreadsheet already. I had my FMIL look over it though.

Not at all, why would that be rude. I also got mine from FSIL because she got married last year. So much easier.

Re: is it rude to....
I just sent the same request to my FMIL and asked her to email me them back. I don't think it is rude, but some people get so touchy about what is proper and this and that. I just don't even care anymore about offending her b/c it seems that I can't do anything right anyway.

Not rude at all.
But if she doesn't like the computer, maybe she can handwrite or if she is unsure about emailing, she can type it up on word and print out for you. But not rude at all to ask for the addresses

Not at all. I was asking my mil for addresses and she told them to me over the phone which was a pain because she has an accent so I am not even sure if I had the write addresses. I never got replies.

Let me tell you, FH took over a month to get me the addresses. I wish I had done anything else other than involve him in it. And he still wants to hand deliver his friends because he doesn't know their addresses (had he not grown up with them and been friends for 27 years, I could understand!!!!!!!!).

lol I completely understand. What I thought might be rude was me asking her to email them as opposed to me driving to her house and copying them down
