Is it safe to have your E-ring cleaned by any salesperson at a jewelry store who offers to clean it...Ive been to quite a few places in the past few days and everywhere I go they offered to clean my ring & they did but right in front of me....what are your thoughts??? on diamonds being switched, do you know of anyone whos gone through this??
Sure, of course, that's what I do.
I do this when I go to Roosevelt Field at Christian Bernard. It is one of the 'nicer' jewelry stores there. I go with them and watch them soak and dry the ring....just keep your ring in sight and inspect it when they are done (anywhere you go)....you want to make sure your diamond hasn't moved, as well as any side stones.
As long as you can see them do it, I'd say it's fine.

Sure, of course, that's what I do.
My friend (snowcutie82) took my e-ring the day of my wedding and had it cleaned. she ahd just had hers done at the same place and said ti was fine- so I wasn't worried about it.
