Is it still possible to have a wedding for $10,000 or less?

Original post by nurserj0101

My budget is $10,000.00 (the most) I'm inviting about 100 people.

I have a couple questions for you ladies:

Which reception hall offer reason prices or all inclusive packages within my budget?

Have any of you ladies or someone you know had a wedding recently that cost $10,000.00 or less? if yes, please tell me how did you manage to stay within your budget. Please provide me with a link to your wedding review if you have one.

Thanks in advance!

Thats what I need my budget to be soup to nuts!! However, its a little hard. I live in South America so it´s a little harder for me. My mom and sis are helping me out but they are busy as well and so I fell bad having them run around to 100,000 different places. . I can give you some suggestions that I´ve found but I´m only in the beginning stages of gathering info so I haven´t tlaked to most of these people yet. I can´t guarantee how good they are but if you are willing to do some legwork I can send you the info. I just ask that you please give me feedback on how it goes.

One place that seems interesting is ariana studios. I talked briefly to someone on the phone and apparently they can do a package deal with everything, including the dress. (although my mom said that she has been there before and thought the dresses are a little over priced.) Davids Bridal is a good bet.

I have a budget sheet in Excel, that´s awesome. It has every little detail of what you would need (even including tips, postage, undergarments for day of wedding, stockings etc.) I filled that out first and it´s amazing how many little things there are that can add up. (Some of them you can skip though) You might want to start with that, set up a realistic budget including the things you want and then try your best to keep to it.

FM me if you want me to send you the file.

I recently went to a wedding at Brentwood Country Club and I know they used the package deal and it was AWESOME!! It was really a great wedding. I don't know what the total cost of the wedding was but I am sure it was close to 10,000. Also the Dj there was awesome!

ditto! I went to one there in April and it was nice, food was delicious!

I do believe it is still possible!!

I know that when I was looking Stuart Thomas Manor and Brentwood Country Club both had $10,000 packages.

There are other ways to save- time of year, time of day, and day of the week ALL make a difference in your price.

Also, try to speak with the location and see if they will work with you. They may offer a deal that was not publicized, and you may get a break!!

Good Luck!!
