is it stupid to have two maid of honors?

ok my sister is my maid of honor ... we are close but not bestestest friends ... part of the reason is because she lives in NC ... so she is really not around to help me plan and do all those maid of honors things with ...but i love her and i want her to my maid of honor. buttttt i have a bestest friend who has been my best friend since we were 13 ... i want to make her my maid of honor too ... but i dont know if it would hurt my sisters feelings ... i feel like by not making my best friend a maid of honor i am hurting her and by making her a maid of honor it may hurt me sister ... DO i just say forget what they want and do what i want ... which would be to have TWO ... or do i take everyones feelings into consideration?

You can definately have 2.. and you can tell your sister that your having a second one to help her out since she lives a little further from you it will ease some of the planning & you really do want to honor your bf as well as her

I have 2 my sisters. I could never choose between them. We are all so close its crazy. So they bothHAVE to be my MOH's!

I'm having 2 also. I originally only wanted 2 girls in my wedding party - both of my sisters and they would both have the MOH title. However, now I think I'm forced to have my FSIL so both of my sisters will be MOH and she will be a bridesmaid.

I'm having 2! One Maid of Honor (my twin sister) and one Matron of honor (my older, married sister!) :)

Not stupid at all...if you have 2 best gals, ya gotta have 2 MOHs!

Not stupid at all. I am having two. I have two Sisters and didn't want to single out one so 2 MOH's was the way to go for me!

Well ... i talked to my sister and she said she totally understood and didnt care if i had two ... she understood that i love her but that i also have a best friend. soooo im going to ask my second MOH today!!! im excited. i love them both!

I'm having 3 also!!

My 3 long-time best friends--2 MOH and 1 matron.

My sister is going to be the greek version of the MOH's which is a Koumbara so technically I have 4.

I just couldn't pick--I love them all too much.

of course it is not! people are now doing that a lot! i actually have TWO matron of honors.. my sister in law (brothers wife) and my FH sister in law (his brothers wife) and they are actually going to be with the 2 BEST MEN (my brother and his brother) so it works out very nicely and that is why we did it that way too! :)
