wear an updo to someone else's wedding? My friend told me she thinks its a bit much....almost like you think you are in the bridal party or something...:) I was just wondering b/c I have a wedding this weekend and I am getting my hair done for it. My dress is strapless and I thought a nice updo would look pretty but now I am not sure. What do you think?

I completely disagree with your friend! It's your hair, wear it how you want to. You will not look like the bridal party, as you'll have a completely different dress. I say you do what you want.

One of my BMs asked me this question....wanted to know if I'd mind if her hair was up for the wedding since I'm getting married in August and humidity reaks havoc! SURE! Wear it anyway you feel comfortable...the more comfortable you are the better my pictures look!!!!!
my sister always gets her hair professionally done and her make up as well for weddings when she is a guest. I personally wouldnt spend the money on it, but i dont think there is anything wrong with it..she just wants to look good...not tacky at all!
I don't think it's too much at all. I mean who has to know you got it done anyway? You could have done it yourself!

I always get my hair done for weddings be it blow out or updo...wear your hair however you like

It's totally fine to have your hair done! Two of my close friends who weren't in the BP, had their hair done by the same hair dresser that did my hair and the BP.
