I dont think so...Im not registering there (I dont think) but I dont think its tacky at all. The last 2 showers I went to the brides where registered there.

That's fine. I've known many perople to do it. I would've myself, but we decided to stick with just Bed, Bath and Beyond and Linens and Things. I've been to weddings where people have registered at either target or walmart.

definitely not tacky. I know a lot of people off Long Island who register there... it's probably only because so many people here spend so much on wedding gifts that it's not so common here. There's a lot of good stuff there.

I think it's always nice to give your guests options. I registered at Macy's and Target.

we registered at target and most of the gifts that we have received so far have been from there

Everybody loves Target? I dont think its tacky at all!!! If it were me...I would register for my bedding and China at Fortunoff and register for everyday practical items at Target!!!!

Not tacky at all, just make sure to check their return policy. It's always good to know for when you get doubles, etc.

NOPE, we plan on registering there as well as BBB & Macy's. Target has some really nice home items. They are also owned and operated by the same company as the department store Marshall Fields.

honestly? i think it's fine...but as awful as this may sound, run it by your mom and FMIL...b/c without even mentioning it, FMIL warned me that it would be looked down on if we did. WOW..i should've done it just to see...heehee....i think she was trying to protect FH's image as an attorney but still...i was insulted...target (tar-jay) has some really cool stuff!!!!

Not tacky at all BUT be careful. I love target but had to cancel our registry there b/c they had such bad customer service. I've also heard from a number of other brides that were less than impressed w/their registries at Target.
IMO stick w/ BB&B they have an amazing policy, you can even get cash back for things on your registry.

I am a Target junkie but I think my MOH had a problem there b/c they don't have the guns so you are pretty much forced into doing it all on line. They may not all be the same though?
