Is it tacky to wear a white dress...

...to your RD? I'm thinking of wearing a white dress but then I'm thinking that might be overkill and I should just go with a nice dress that's not white. Please share your opinions!

ETA: If I did wear a white dress, I wouldn't look like a bride in a white dress... The shoes wouldn't be white and the accessories wouldn't be bridal.

i plan on wearing something mostly white.....preferably something from blackhouse whitemarket

ive been to one and the bride to be did..i mean it was not a ball gown but a cute white summer dress... i loved it i say go for it

I wouldn't think it's tacky. I would wear white depending of the season, but that's just me.

I wore a white dress to mine..not tacky at all. My dress had flowers on it, it wasn't completely white.

I wore a white sundress to mine! In fact, most of my friends have worn white to their RD... some to their bridal shower. I think it's kinda like one of those unspoken traditions.

i agree with the other girls. i've been toying with the idea myself! i think it's totally cute! go for it! it's your RH, i wanna be the bride for as many days and events that i can stretch it out to :o)

It's not tacky and you should wear what you want!! However, I think I'm going to wear a dark color (even though my wedding is in july) just so I look really different in the two sets of pics.. not that i'm not going to look different either way!!
