Is It Terrible That...

I bought my invitations at Wal-Mart. I was there last night with my FH because he wanted to make T-Shirts for his best MEN (he couldn't decide) and I stumbled upon this huge pile of wedding clearance stuff. Some of it was pretty crummy but I saw these invitations. Granted they are the kind you have to print yourself but a little hard work never hurt anybody. They are white with a raised pearly white border. The border is flowers and hearts. Its a pack of 40 invites and envelopes and 40 reply cards and envelopes...The box was only 11 bucks so we bought 3 just in case, (we plan on having 150 people and inviting like 170). I am hoping they come out well but if not it was only 33 bucks. right? Have you guys had good experiences with printing your own invites. I haven't looked if there is directions or not. If anyone has any tips or comments, let me have it.
Oh by the way in case anyone is interested, the Walmart is in Centereach.

Are they the ones by Wilton? Wilton has a website with all the directions. I've looked at those invites and they are very nice. Not terrible at all. Even better you got them on sale!

I got one better...I bought mine at Michaels w/coupons...but they rang up wrong. Reg. price $25/ea...box.....I should have paid $12.50/ea....I actually paid (due to the register error) $10/ea!!!!

Not terrible at all, for that price you can't go wrong. Who doesn't love a good bargain!! Plus its not like the words' puchased at Walmart, on Sale' will be printed on them. No one will know and I'm sure they will look great!! Great find!

Its fine...no one but you will know you bought them at Walmart. They sound pretty....kind of like my invitations.

I purchashed DIY invites, had a hard time printing only because of the size of paper so i took them to a printing place, but it should be fine!! and hay for 30 bucks can't beat that!!! good luck

They are invitations to YOUR wedding!! They can be from anywhere you want!!

I wish i was as good a shopper as you haha FH is like 'yeah well we can spend 500 on invites' im like you are outta your mind-are they doing to be etched with gold? we dont have that kind of money last time i checked

It is NOT terrible!!! i did the SAME thing got mine at a craft store on sale for $14 a box and they had the invites placecards programs everything .. i mean I admittedly bought other stuff and made pocketfolds with them but if I would of bought online my invites would of been like $650 and i got all of my paper stuff for $142 big difference by DIYing them...
