Is it that hard not to use caps?

I am sorry because I have said this in posts before, but can we PLEASE not write in all caps?

Is it that hard?

I will not read a post that's all in caps, because it's just so difficult to read, and I am sure other people don't as well, so please turn off the caps lock button....

Yah, this was mentioned before and I have to say.......I use caps all day long at work, and I've had to delete my post and start over becuase I forgot to take my caps off...... I agree, it's hard to read............

i'm with you--once a post is in all caps---i usually just don't want to read it anymore. its annoying as hell.

and i'm sure all you CAPS USERS will tell us to relax, and get over it, or whatever. but it's a pet peeve and all it takes is tapping your left pinky on the caps lock on and off....see watch

I agree! I wanted to post about this but didn't know how to not offend anyone - but you said it perfectly.

Honestly, Melissa is 100% right - it takes 1/2 a second to tap the Caps Lock key on or off. But it makes a world of different to everyone that is reading.

It's different to use CAPS on a few words or a phrase in your post than to DO THE WHOLE THING IN ALL CAPS. It's beyond annoying, but more than anything, it's difficult to read.

as you can see by this thread, its a BIG pet peeve of most people on here. i know that a lot of ppl have to use caps lock for their work...and i also have to use it all day long. but when i type on any type of internet board, website, etc. i make sure to tape the lock off.

not trying to be snarky or anything--just that you asked..and i'm just answering the question

also - I guess those who use caps can continue to annoy us but I (and many other brides) do not read those posts... so if you want people to actually read what you are posting, maybe take a second to turn the key off...

I agree. I'm not trying to be mean, but if you can't take 1/2 of one second to tap the caps lock key off, then I don't think I can take the minute or so it takes to read their posts and respond to it.
