Is it that hard not to use caps?

I use caps at work all day too - its supereasy to press caps lock when you switch windows.

I'll make sure I take them off... but I just think there is so many other things in this world to worry about or bother you then someone using caps... I do agree though when I see them they do look annoying, but when you TYPE all day at work... and flipping screens sometimes it is a lot easier just to leave it...

I've never commented on the whole Caps situation that pops up now and again but post in all Caps give me major headaches literally /physically and I'm sure I am not the only one.

as you can see by this thread, its a BIG pet peeve of most people on here. i know that a lot of ppl have to use caps lock for their work...and i also have to use it all day long. but when i type on any type of internet board, website, etc. i make sure to tape the lock off.

Well of course there are other bigger things to worry about in this world. But, just like we are annoyed by a BM's actions or a vendor issue or whatever and we comment about it on here, things we read on here can annoy us too and we're entitled to make a comment about it. JMO. I personally really appreciate you taking the caps off. I'm sure it wasn't difficult at all, so thanks!

you're right there ARE more important things than caps lock....and there are more important things than BM dresses, monograms, cake toppers, e-rings, videogrpahers, wedding dresses, alterations, RD's, tiaras, veils, and make up trials.........and we all talk about them here. let's not pretend that this board is some deep think tank....it's a chat board...and that is why the caps issue comes up...cause its simple chat etiquette....we don't discuss the Geneva Conventions on here...we talk about cake flavors...so the 'there are more important things in the world than caps lock' statement doesn't quite fit.

It was easy to take them off seeing as I am not working in my system right at this moment. I am making calls however once I get back in, if the caps it's easier for me to keep them on. I just think this whole thing is a bit silly thats all JMO

i'm with you--once a post is in all caps---i usually just don't want to read it anymore. its annoying as hell.

and i'm sure all you CAPS USERS will tell us to relax, and get over it, or whatever. but it's a pet peeve and all it takes is tapping your left pinky on the caps lock on and off....see watch

like i said before, you asked the question about 'what's the big deal?' and we all just responded. you can do whatever you want, but we all explained our reasoning as to why it annoys us, and you have your own. no one is gonna force you to take the lock off or not, its your choice. we just expressed our own opinion on it, and you have yours and will obviously continue to do whatever you want, no matter what ppl say. that's your choice

plus, like another poster said, it give me headaches. So, for the simple action of touching one button, you can have your threads actually read and not give people headaches!

I really dont mind either way.. I get so many emails from different people who simply just dont know to turn it off [aka- FMIL!!!!] So Im used to reading caps...
