I'm getting married in October and was thinking about booking a make-up artist this January. You think it's too early?

Anyway, back to the OP, as long as the makeup artist can book that far in advance, then I say go for it! But please make sure that this person is DEFINITELY the one for you.

@CC...PLAN PLAN PLAN!!! You're better off getting the make-up artist now versus waiting too long. Also, you might be able to get a better deal since it's so far out. But have a back up artist in case anything happens. Good luck!!!!

I'm not sure who this Ginger person is, but its getting annoying when someone asks a relevant question about their wedding, all to have the conversation directed back to themselves (i.e. Ginger). Ginger, either say something that people care about or leave. this is supposed to be a drama free board, but all I see you doing is bringing in more drama. time to grow up a little...

Its definatly not too early. Especially if its a popular makeup artist. I booked my makeup artist over a year in advance!

Thanks Danielle. It's better to just get things done now so you don't have to run around like a nut later. =) I've never got my make-up done so it'll be fun to see how I'm really suppose to put make-up on.

WOW! Gina, she did a great job. You look so pretty. Did you go to multiple make-up artists before picking Christy? This may be a dum question, but what is airbrush make-up? How do they airbrush a face? lol

haha aww thanks she is awesome..honestly I was just going to do my own because I am such a perfectionist when it comes to my makeup. I have or had never let anyone else do it before Christy. But when I saw the pics from a gf of mine's wedding on facebook I was like WHO DID YOUR MAKEUP??? I WANT HER!! I love it because I wanted airbrush so my face stays on incase I'm sweating & also my eye makeup because I am a cryer..haha so she used a gel eyeliner. The airbrush is like a regular looking foundation bottle that is screwed on to this wand & it sprays on ..& doesn't come off! LOVE IT! (don't feel bad I didn't knwo what it was before I got it done either

SOOOOO, I booked a trial! I'm so happy!! I actually decided Im going to go on 12/20 (engagement dinner) and again In January for my FI's niece's baptism. I want to try both traditional and airbrush.
