To order my invitations? My friend is taking me to direct buy tomorrow because she is a member and if I find something I like, I'm wondering if I should place them on order or just wait.... I was going to wait until the spring to start looking, but she gets a HUGE discount being a member. Any tips on what I need to know or ask when doing invitations????? TIA

I don't think its too early... you're not sending them out - you're just buying them. Your should definitely take advantage of that discount - if you find something you love. JMO --- HTH!

If you are sure that there wont be any changes to your Ceremony or Reception and If you can get a discount- I say go for it.

as long as you have your guest list set i dont see a reason why not... but make sure they are the ones you want definitely...

If you get a good deal I don't think its too early. Its not like you are going to send them out as soon as you get them

ITA. I'd be worried that circumstances beyond your control could possibly change something to do with your ceremony/reception. I'd wait.

Re: Is it too early
Your wedding is about a year away and IMO I dont see the problem. Other than ceremony and reception time, ust make sure you have your full guestlist or at leat know how many people you will def have. I say go for it.

Not too early. Just keep an open mind and get ideas from the samples if you don't know what you want yet.
Good luck!
