I called Denise Venti and she is open on my date in July but she can't book it until I book a trial. Do you think that now is too soon?

I dont think it's too early.
There's a chance you may not like her work and you will need to find someone else and will have plenty of time to do that.
By doing it now, you will also spread the expense out a bit so you won't have to lay out more money when things start to pop later on.
And most importantly, you'll kick yourself if you miss the chance to work with her.

I think as long as you have your head piece it's not a waste of time (unless you plan on cutting a real significant portion of your hair).

some may not do trials this early, but it's worth a try. JN was already booked for my date and Jen from Fairtale is holding my date until she is ready to book trials for 2004

there's no harm in it - you can always change the style if you change your mind, but at least you'll know how she works and you can decide if you are comfortable with her or not.
