Is it too early for me to send out my

invites? I'm so anxious to get them out, but my FH thinks its too early - the RSVP date is Oct. 6th.

Our RSVP is Oct 1st. We are sending them out the end of August--probably the 30-31. Good luck! Did you put them all together yet?

Definitly not! I'm sending mine out the first week in Sep. You should figure about a week for people to get them, so that will cut out some time

I just got back the envelops all addressed last night...I still need to put them together! I'll probably work on it next week one night after work.

The general guideline is always 8 - 10 weeks unless it's a Destination Wedding or Holiday weekend or something but I think it's fine to send them out a little early. This gives people more time to RSVP.

I sent out my invites a tad early -- at around 11 weeks.

My RSVP date is 10/1 - I plan to send out my invites by the end of this week.

I think its too early. 8 weeks is enough. If you send them too early, people see that it is so far away, they put it to the side and then forget they never RSVP'd! You want them to get the invitation and RSVP right away.

Oh my, YES!!! send them out... at this point, that is giving your guest 6 weeks to respond.

My wedding is Dec 3rd, RSVP date of Nov 12th, so sending them out mid-Sept....

Get them in the mail
