Is it too early to order....

little chocolates for favors if my wedding is in august? They are having a really great sale on the knot and I hate to pass it up, originally they are $49.95 for 100 of them, but now they are $29.95 for 100, I know there is a chance they could melt, but I have an area in my house that it always cool, or they could go in the fridge as it gets closer. We are doing donations as favors, but this could just be a little something extra for our guests without breaking the bank. What do you think?

honestly? i would wait. Every chocolate thing i have wanted to buy the sipping has said to wait til a week or so before the event......hope that hepls!

Personally, I ordered mine already (same chocolates you are ordering). I've had Hershey stuff be fine for more than 6 months after I received it. I'm keeping it in the fridge and hoping for the best lol.

I have the same dilemma. Im wondering to order almonds now or later. I think I might wait a bit and then order maybe a month before. I dont know what to do either!

Oh and another reason I ordered early is because May-September you have to pay for expresess shipping of the chocolate and I was far to cheap for that lol.
Although, with the way the weather has been, if I got them now instead of last month, I'd probably express ship them.
