My wedding is next year but I know exactly what dress I want.
I ordered mine in November. If you know what you want, go for it!
i ordered mine in march of 07 and its not coming in until march of 08...but some places and designers it can arrive ALOT quicker so if it does come early just think of whether or not you have somewhere to hold it until the wedding...Otherwise i see nothing wrong with getting it early.
I dont see anything wrong with ordering early if you know what you want. But just keep in mind, you have a lot of time so new styles and designs can come out. you may see something you like even better. i personally would probably wait till close to my one year mark but thats bc i have been known to change my mind often hehe.
I bought mine in January of 07 and my wedding is April 08...go for it!!
Not at all too early... i went shopping for mine in October 06 just to really look and get and idea of what i wanted ..well i found the one and purchased it right there and then, Carol from Burton Bridal measured me and said she would hold the order till it got closer , i'm not sure when they ordered it but it came in last week and will hold it till my fittings , i say go for it when you find something you love they will hold placing the order if you want...some places i had gone to said ' oh your looking way too early ' don't listen to them ...go buy a dress!!!

if you know what you want go for it I ordered mine in the summer when I put it on I knew it was the one
If you are sure that is the dress that you want and you will not change your mind then go for it. It will be just one less thing you have to worry about in the long run
I was considering looking at a dress and I was worried it was too early. I am going to wait until the summer, so I have something to look forward to. Also I will get myself crazy if I see new dresses coming out and I am not ready to stop looking. But if you know exactly what you want go for it!
i ordered mine march of 07 for a may 08 wedding. if you know what you want, go for it... just make sure you absolutely love it. and once you order it, stop looking. there are a lot of two-dress brides!
